Support liners reduce the creep characteristics of PE pipes of quality "PE-80", "PE-100" and "PE-X" at restraint joints and at screw socket joints, thus extending the service life of the joint, especially if a low inside pressure is combined with a high tensile force in pipe direction. Their application is particularly recommended in case of noncircular or oval pipe cross sections (bundled stock).
